This is 1968 ford mustang shelby gt 350 clone. The car was restored in 2009 andhas a clear ohio title. The restoration was completed with a shelby fiberglasshood, trunk lid and front nose. The front end has the correct shelby grille andalso lucas fog lamps. The rear has has the shelby tail lights and gas cap. Theexterior was painted candy apple red with a dupont base coat and clear coat. The motor is a 410 hp 347 stroker motor that sounds andruns great. It is paired with a c4 automatic performance transmission and has aposi rear end. The car has 4 wheel disc brakes and power steering. The mustangwas rebuilt with all stainless steel brake and fuel lines. The car has shelby 10spoke rims. Also added was air conditioning from vintage air. The car has only1157 miles on it since it was restored. The black interior has 1970 ford mustanghigh back seats. The seats have the shelby 4 point seat belts that are attachedto the shelby roll bar. The steering column was replaced with a flaming rivertilt wheel column. The dash includes a shelby correct nos instrument clusterwith 140 mph speedometer and 8000 rpm tach. This is a true gta car (gt package with automatic) exclusive option for 67 models only, very few fastbacks built with this option and 289 v8. See attached marti report listing all the original stats. This car is a beauty and a real looker, it has been featured in auto care product commercials, see attached pictures of the car on set! All modifications have been done with oem parts and in keeping with its original muscle car appearance and performance. No other car embodies classic american muscle like a 67 fastback mustang. Over the last 18 months, i have spent over 20k in the car in upgrades. Here is a list of some the work i completed in the last year:all new oem suspension components were replaced, including all bushings, tie rods, trailing arms, shocks, etc. Front and rearall 4 corners were redone with new brakes, front discs, rear drums4 barrel carburetor has been completely rebuilt. Msd electronic ignition was addedupgraded motor mountsstarter solenoidnew water pumpnew hand brake systemnew power steeringnew chrome trim at tail lightsnew back up light lensesnew antennanew fan shroudbrand new classic magnum 500 wheelsbrand new classic bf goodridge radial tas tiresthe car drives very well, the 289 v8 with headers and 4 barrel carburetor has tons of power and runs perfectly with no smoke no sputter. The suspension and brake work bring the car to its original factory specs and handles and stops as intended by ford in 67. All headlights, tail lights, fog lights, turn signals (including the hood mounted gt turn signals) all work as intended. The exterior and interior are in great shape, restoration was done by previous owner approximately 7-8 years ago. The car shows very well and gets a ton of looks and compliments everywhere i drive.
