The cs6 mustang is arguably the rarest modern-day shelby mustang in existence. This cs6 is fully documented in the shelby registry. Most mustang enthusiasts are surprised this model of shelby snuck by them without their knowing about it, so here is a brief history of the shelby cs6: in 2005 while shelby was just beginning their current relationship with ford, they took a sonic blue 2005 v6 mustang and created the first cs6, which debuted at the 2005 sema auto show. While plans were in full motion to produce the cs6, it coincided with the production of the 2006 shelby gt-h. The cs6 program never got off the ground because of agreements they made with ford in an effort to avoid competition with svt vehicles that would be using the shelby name (gt500). Instead, it was offered as a kit in the first part of 2006, and only sold through shelby automobiles las vegas headquarters. The turn 2 model included a distinctive front grill, front & rear fascia, side scoops, upper and lower grille, paxton supercharger, ford racing suspension, and various other performance parts. There was a turn 1 and turn 2 model available for the cs6, with the turn 2 featuring a paxton novi200. The cs6 and gt-h then went on to inspire the shelby gt for 2007-2008 and the rest of the modern day shelby models. The build list is long but here are a few things this rare shelby includes: paxton novi 1200 intercooled supercharger, baer 14" vented/slotted & cross drilled rotors front & rear, one piece aluminum driveshaft, shorty headers, shelby functional hood pin kit, shelby cs hood, cs side scoops, frpp stingers, as well as a painted 3rd brake light. This car includes a certificate of authenticity from shelby, a certificate of authenticity for the commemorative signature on the dash and unique shelby cs6 turn 2 aluminum dash plaque. I am the second owner of this one-of-a-kind cs6, and i have loved taking it to car shows and car meets and talking with other car enthusiasts about the history and rarity of the cs6. S time for me to let it go. This car is in show room condition, with extremely low mileage (25k) for a 2005. The stripes are painted with no vinyl anywhere on the exterior. The several coats of clear make the finish look deep and rich. The interior has not been mentioned but it is an official shelby american approved one off interior. All wheels are in excellent shape and i have a brand new one for a spare which has never been on the car. People always want to take pictures with it and love to talk about it.
